Account Setup Instructions
After your account is created, please complete your profile online, update and upload your resume. Once these tasks are completed, you will be ready for your initial interview at the Experiential Learning office. To do this:
1. Log in and complete all sections of your profile
3. Bring a copy of your resume and meet with the Experiential Learning faculty member assigned to your major
Account Activation Procedures
- Logging in: You will log in from Experiential Learning home page. Once you receive an email verifying that your account has been created you will be able to access PlacePro, the online Experiential Learning system. The first time you log in your login name will be the 1st letter of your first name + your whole last name + the last 5 digits of your PID. Leave the password blank (you will be asked later to choose a password).
- Tell us about you:
- Click on the "About You" section on the left and fill out your information.
- Then, complete "Job Preferences" on the left.
- Upload your resume:
- Click the "Documents" link at the top of the page.
- Click "My Documents" on the left.
- Click on "Browse" and find your resume on your hard drive and "Upload"
- After completing these sections, please log off.
The Initial Interview
- When you have completed the steps above, you will be ready for an initial meeting with your Experiential Learning faculty member. Visit the Contact Us link to identify the coordinator assigned to your major and their available days, times, and locations. No appointments are necessary; students are seen on a first come, first served basis. Please remember to bring a hard copy of your resume.
- At this meeting, your resume will be reviewed, your job preferences noted, and your faculty member will show you how to choose opportunities through the online database.
